The Noyac Bay Cowl is textured and cozy. It’s worked in the round in seed stitch, bordered by interwoven knits and purls. Knit at a gauge that creates a warm yet easy fabric, it will keep you toasty even in the chilly winds coming off the bay at Noyac, near Sag Harbor, New York.

Directions for two sizes are included, and the pattern is both written and charted. While the cowl may look complex, it’s constructed of knit and purl stitches, and you’ll find that it knits up quickly. Pair it with the Noyac Bay Toque, and you’ll be ready to stand on the shore of Noyac Bay and look out over North Haven to Shelter Island.

Materials: Circular needles, US 4 & US 6; set of US 6 double pointed needles.

Yarn: The 23” Noyac Bay Cowl requires about 142 yards of Clara Yarn Cormo 1.0; the 33” cowl requires about 210 yards.
