The Novus Jacket was inspired by the construction of the sweaters in the Novus Collection. I wanted a winter weight jacket that would keep me WARM and that I could wear open or closed! The jacket is worked from the sleeve towards the center in two halves and then joined together by back and sleeve panels. It is easy to adjust! Add length to the jacket when you cast on for the body and add width by working more rows at the collar.

495 (525, 630, 680, 760, 825, 885) yards/ 450 (480, 580, 620, 690, 750, 810) meters of a structured bulky or super bulky weight yarn

Yarn I Used:
Harrisville Designs, Turbine (100% wool; 110 yd 101 m/ 3.53 oz 100 g); Eastview
Note: This yarn is more like 90 yd/100 g, plan accordingly!

US Size 11 8 mm 32-inch or longer circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge (sleeves and body)
Spare US Size 11 8 mm needle, or size needed to obtain gauge (for back)
US Size 11 8 mm 40-inch or longer circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge (for collar)
Tapestry needle
Scrap yarn and 8 mm crochet hook for provisional cast on
Stitch holders or scrap yarn for holding un-worked sts
