Texture is key in this design, so you’ll do best to select a solid color yarn to see the patterning.

At round 36 you will need to adjust the beginning of the round in order to continue the cable crosses. On the following round you will revert to the original beginning of round. This will be easier to do with a locking stitch marker. Alternately, if the maneuvering is to finicky you can work round 36 even without the cable and leave the round marker in place.
