Nottingham
An interplay of a little sheerness and a lot of style, Nottingham is an elegant choice to wear to a party or dinner out. Knit in Valley Yarns Southampton and 2/10 Merino Tencel held together, this is the perfect piece to wear over a camisole, with its sheer sleeves and upper body. The lower body alternates very narrow sheer stripes (worked with just of one strand of Southampton) with wide opaque sections of 2/10 Merino Tencel and Southampton held together. Nottingham is knit flat in pieces and then seamed. Stitches are picked up in Southampton around the armholes for the sleeves and knit in the round down to a three-quarter length.
