About the design…
NOTES is a rustic sweater, designed for men, but can also be used by women.
The model is knitted top-down, and as the dominant color is different on the back and front, the body must be knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch. The sides of the body are knitted together with a visible seam and if you like, you can choose a completely different color to clarify this detail. The sleeves are knitted top-down in the round, directly on the body. The special stitch-pattern, which indicates writing, is created by knitting 1 of 3 rows with double yarn in 2 different colors.

Mährle Inselschaf wolle or similar Aran weight wool: 197 yd (180 m) /100 g
Color A (natur): 350 / 350 / 350 / 400 / 400 g
Color B (friesischblau dunkel): 300 / 300 / 350 / 350 / 400 g

Needles
32” (80 cm) circular needles size US 5 & 7 (3.5 & 4.5 mm)
16” (40 cm) circular needles size US 5 & 7 (3.5 & 4.5 mm)
1 set of double pointed needles size US 5 (3.5 mm)
Stitch markers

Gauge
Before wash: 15 sts & 23 rows in stockinette stitch and pattern with needle size US 7 (4.5 mm) = 4” (10 cm)
After wash and blocking: 14 sts & 24 rows = 10 cm
