“Norwegian Summer” is a simple, unisex hat in wool where cables are combined with stripes. It comes in two sizes, medium (circumference 21 inches/54 cm, fits women and teenagers) and large (circumference 24 inches/60 cm, men). It is a bit slouchy, and you can add a tassel or two (or none!).
Wool is recommended, any type of sport quality but please make sure the gauge is correct: 10x10 cm (4x4 inches) represent 22 stitches and 34 rows (use the pattern in the swatch test).

Round needles 4 mm (US 6) and five double pointed needles 4 mm (US 6) for the top part of the hat.
Extra yarn for tassel
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Tape measure/ruler.
Materials:
Quince&Co Chickadee (100% wool) or any yarn of 5 ply/“sport” type (12 api).
Three colors; A, B and C. You need approx. 40 (50 for size large) grams of color A, 30 (35) grams of color B and 15 (20) grams of color C.
