A warm, woolen winter hat inspired by the cold North. The pattern depicts snow-covered mountains and a starry sky knitted in white and deep blue. At the top is the Northern Star, which has guided adventurers at sea and land for many thousands of years. May this hat lead you though many adventures in the times to come! The hat is designed to fit both men and women.

The hat is one size and with ribbing, which makes it elastic and easy to adjust. On 5mm needles, the ribbing measure 48cm round, but can easily be expanded. For a tighter ribbing, go ½ or 1 needle size down (just for the ribbing) to fit your head size.

Yarn: 100% wool yarn, 50g = 100m. you need:

  • 50g (one skein) in colour A (dark blue for the sky)
  • 50g (one skein) in colour B (white for the mountains and stars)

Gauge: 20 stitches per 10cm

Needles: 5mm Circular and double pointed

Notions: (optional) stitch markers to mark the decreases

An easy hat to knit, but what makes it a bit more challenging is the two-coloured pattern. A good project for knitters who wish to learn how to knit in multiple colours.
