North Country Cowl
I recently took a little field trip to Junction Fiber Mill in White River Junction, VT and was completely entranced! The mill is bright, busy and quite small, and having the opportunity to check out the yarns in real life was well worth the trip! I chose 2 different yarns, North Country Cheviot and Making Tracks Daybreak. I knew I wanted to make a cowl, and played around with a few possible patterns until I came up with this one, a reprise of the chart I use for my Picea mittens and hat. I’m very happy with my snowy spruce trees backed up by a bright “red-sky in morning” sunrise!
This tubular Moebius cowl with a half-twist is nice and comfy around the neck and will keep the lucky wearer warm and cozy, even if the weather takes a turn for the worse!
