The stripes in this shawl twist and turn to form diamonds, arranged in a parabolic curve. It is crocheted in slip stitches. The shawl is based on my technique of long rows: Once the setup row is done, the rest of the shawl is relatively mindless.

Pattern includes written instructions and tutorials for the stitches and for my technique of working in long rows. The stitches used are front loop only slip stitch (F), back loop only slip stitch (B) and inverse back loop only slip stitch (iB).

yarn:
150 g (5.5 oz) Holst Supersoft Uld in Slate Grey (861 m/ 942 yards)

hook: 4 mm (US size G)

also needed: 74 stitch markers (or threads in a constrasting color)

Die Streifen auf diesem Tuch ändern ihre Richtung, so dass sich Rauten bilden, die parabolisch angeordnet sind. Das Tuch wird aus Kettmaschen gehäkelt. Es benutzt meine Technik der verlängerten Reihen: Für die Anfangsreihe braucht man Konzentration, danach ist es mindless.

Die Anleitung ist schriftlich, mit Lehrgängen für die verschiedenen Kettmaschen und für die ungewöhnliche Konstruktion mit meinen verlängerten Reihen. Man braucht vorn eingestochene Kettmaschen (V), hinten eingestochene Kettmaschen (H) und von links hinten eingestochene Kettmaschen (liH).
