Norma
The cardigan is worked flat from the top down, with raglan sleeves shaped through yoke increases. Ease is added at the underarms with chain stitches, and a neat neckline is formed at the front. The body is worked straight down towards the hem, and inset pockets add practicality. Tapered sleeves end in ribbed cuffs, as does the hem. A firm crocheted front edge and button band finish the look.
The skirt is worked flat in one piece from the top down, starting with the waistband. Reinforced stitches make the waist snug, and a button fastening is added. Stitches are increased at the sides to shape the skirt for a flattering fit. A vertical seam is crocheted at the back, with a zipper sewn into the top and a long back slit left open for movement.
