This afghan uses the Fair Isle technique, in which no more than 2 colors are used in each row. Each row is a right-side row, and is worked in back loops only, throughout.

Revive the art of afghan crochet with this snowflake motif design. Nordic Snowflake design features fair-isle, ribbed crochet motif snowflake panels offset by fleur-de-lis design panels. Project can be made using US size 4 worsted weight yarn and a size J-10, 6 millimeter, crochet hook. Includes instructions for each section of the afghan, a guide to the fair isle technique and a general guide to crochet. Finished afghan design size measures approximately 58”x 62”. Pattern does not recommend a SPECIFIC yarn, only that it is a #4 weight.
