Nomena
The pattern has instructions for both toe up and cuff down socks and is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.
Sizes
S (57 sts), M (63 sts), L (72 sts)
Yarn
100 g of fingering weight sock yarn, app. 420 m (440 yds) per 100g, in two colours, 10-15 g of CC is enough.
The sample socks were knitted with Novita Venla in colourway 505 Omenankukka (MC), 420 m/ 459 yds per 100 g and Hedgerow Yarns Sock Blank MerinoNylon in colourway Ooak (CC), 425 m/ 465 yds per 100 g.
Needles & notions
2.75 mm/ US 2 circular needle(80 cm/ 32 inches long or longer) or to meet the gauge
tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
36 sts x 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking.
