Here’s a popular item for teens of both sexes - No-Show Socks. We called them booties when I was a teen, and they are back in fashion again. I’ve written the pattern with 3 cuff options - Garter, Rolled and Pom-Pom (if you want to go retro!)

Sized for a woman’s medium foot, these socks feature a simple turned heel and wedge toe. Add 6-10 more stitches and they’ll fit your favorite teen boy.

Skill level: Adventurous Beginner - You need not have made a sock, but you should be familiar with DPN needles.

Yarn: DK weight 100% wool in two shades of green, or about 275 meters DK weight yarn

Gauge: 6.5 stitches and 9 rows per inch
