This pattern is available as part of an e-book called One Stitch, Two Stitch: a Mini Stitch Dictionary for Mini Stitches.

The stitch dictionary contains 12 different stitch patterns that can be used interchangeably in four accessory patterns. What makes this book special is that each of the 12 stitches only has a 2 stitch repeat so you can explore what all you can do with only 2 stitches! Each easy pattern is written so that the stitch that tickles your fancy can be inserted to create your own beautiful piece. Also included are the instructions to knit the samples as pictured.

You can also buy the patterns individually but please note that the individually purchased patterns only contain line by line instructions on how to knit the sample as pictured.

In keeping with the Dr. Seuss theme of the collection I have chosen a nonsensical name pulled from Hop on Pop. Pat is a creature who sits on a hat, and then on a bat, and eventually when he attempts to sit on a cactus the response is NO PAT NO, don’t sit on that! For some reason my toddler son found that part of the book absolutely hilarious.
