Nickelby
Note: Gauge is not crucial for this scarf.
Nickleby is named after The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, Charles Dickens’ third novel. Nickleby is a poor man who must support his mother and sister after his father dies and leaves him penniless. We think Nickleby would have appreciated this warm scarf as a buffer against the drizzly London weather. Nickleby is based on a k1, p1 rib pattern, so it is reversible. Choose the “wrong side” (shown above) for a more textured appearance. Although designed as a man’s scarf, Nickleby would also be great for a woman, especially in a brighter color.
