New Wave Socks
A useful project to use up small amounts of leftover sock yarn (of which I have tons… eek).
These little lacey, wavy socks are ankle height so they knit up quick and are great for the transitioning seasons.
Knit from the cuff-down, these socks feature stripes and a wavy lace pattern that uses just k2tog, ssk and yo. There is just one lace round that is repeated to create the wavy stitch pattern… super easy to memorize!
Pattern is available in English and Français!
Merci beaucoup à knit2berlin, pour la traduction!
(Attention, la version française n’a pas été éditée et je ne suis pas en mesure d’offrir un support de patron en français)

Yarn: 1 skein of Belle by Artfil (Fingering weight/ 4 ply - 80% wool, 20% nylon, 354 meters/ 387 yards - 100 g) in Onyx MC
and small amounts of Belle by Artfil (approx 70 meters/ 77yards - 20g ) in Cabane-a-Sucre (discontinued shade) CC1, Peach CC2, and Frosted Rose CC3
needles
2.25 mm/ US 1 double pointed needles (set of 5)
Notions: Removable stitch marker (optional), tapestry needle
gauge
30 sts and 44 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) over Stockinette Stitch, after blocking. Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge.
Socks are knitted in the round from the cuff down using double pointed needles (DPNs).
Sizing: Unfortunately, due to the amount of stitches in one repeat of the lace pattern, I could not easily grade this pattern for more sizes. A solution to change the size of the pattern is to change the stitch gauge by using a different needle size. For a larger circumference, use a larger needle size than the recommended size, and for a smaller circumference use a smaller needle size. These socks do have a considerable amount of stretch, so be sure to not cast on your stitches too tightly at the beginning!
