Nessie’s story!

Once upon a time, a little girl, Addilyn, was walking through the woods. She knew she was supposed to have a grown-up accompany her, but she was oh so curious and she couldn’t resist. Addilyn had been hearing unusual noises at night coming from the nearby swamp; a chirpy warbling sound that was calling to her.
After traveling down the wooded path, she came upon a strange creature all dressed in purple and pink! “Hello”, said Addilyn. “Hi there, I’m Nessie, a swamp dragon, what’s your name?” said the creature. Addilyn and Nessie spent the next few hours talking, laughing and playing in the woods, but Nessie still seemed a little sad. “Why do you seem sad?” Said Addilyn. “I’m all alone out here in the swamp”, said Nessie. “It’s so lonely, can I come home with you?” Addilyn thought about it and decided to bring Nessie with her.

Today Nessie and Addilyn are best friends, they take naps together and explore the outdoors, running, playing and laughing. Do you know a little one who needs a Nessie?

CC1-Black half a ball, CC2-White,
small amount.
Eyes: #4 yarn: Small amt white, black.
purple, blue.
Hook: 8.0mm (L), 3.75mm (F) for eyes.
Polyfil: Polyfil or soft doll stuffing.
Other: Darning needle, scissors.
