Neptune the Flying Fish
Neptune is a soft wonderful fishy friend. Perfect to knit for the little one in your life!
Neptune looks best felted, but if you decide not to felt, knit at a tight gauge.
Neptune is also knit in the round as well as flat for a few parts.
Finished Size:
Width approx. 4” at widest point of wing span
Length approx. 6” from tip of tail to head
Yarn:
Cascade 220: dark blue
Cascade 220 : white
Optional: Lion Brand Trellis yarn (or something similar)
this gives a scale effect.
* Very little yarn used. Can be made with scraps.
Skills used:
k = knit
sts = stitches
KFB = knit into the front and back in one stitch
k2tog = knit 2 stitches together
SSK = slip st, slip st, knit
st st = stockinette stitch
