Need testers for updated pattern
Hello Crocheters,
I’m Novella of Novella Bobo Designs
I have a Testing Call for the Monogram Princess Bedspread
This is a twin-size bedspread
It’s designed with your little girl in mind.
This is the first pattern that I wrote in 2016, I updated it and I now need to have it tested by 2 people. This is the original version of the monogram squares in this picture; we have now updated the squares in the pattern to be more in the middle of the strip instead of the edges.
I need the basic testing done on it with a few extra requests.
Special Requests:
Tester #1: A well lit, clutter free, magazine worthy photo of the finished piece displayed on a twin sized bed. This photo will be the updated main photo for the pattern (with credit to the photographer), if you can take a photo of one of the monograms and the main stitch of the blanket that would be helpful also.
Tester #2: Weigh each of the 3 colors and tally them as they are worked on the blanket so we can convert the weight of each color into yards used. You can weigh each skein and record it as you go.
I will need 2 alternate testers, one for each of the categories above in case an emergency arises for the first two testers; this is important to keep the test moving forward.
If you follow through within a 4-month span from your starting point and follow the testing instructions clearly then I can give you credit on the pattern as a tester, in your name or your business name and I will also give you the Monogram Princess Pillow pattern, this will make a set for you.
I have the Testing Terms & Application in the Page Section of my Ravelry Group Novella Bobo Designs Tester’s Group
I will confirm if you are chosen for the test in this group after I get the right testers, once you are confirmed this will be your starting point :)
We will be using Google Docs to communicate about the pattern and email for everything else. In my group’s pages I have information in the Terms on how to use Google Docs for testing. The Tester’s Application is in the pages as well, this is where you sign up to test for me after you have consumed all the Terms and links information.
Here is the pattern page Monogram Princess Bedspread You can connect your project page to it as you are ready.
I would like for you to use the specified yarn for this project because I need that exact yarn weight per color, for yarn usage calculations from the tester who will be keeping a tally of color weights.
Photography with this yarn is also important so the end user can see how this yarn will look when worked up into the piece.
You can choose any colors you like as long as it’s 3 colors
