Nautilina
The Nautilina, named after the pre-historic relative of the modern day nautilus, is a semi-circular shawl designed to lay beautifully and easily stay wrapped around your shoulders with little effort. It is knit from the top down with 5 segments that gently swirl in a spiral creating interest within a simple stockinette background.
The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, instructions are written to knit to set lengths for each section. You easily can adapt to an alternate yarn weight or adjust finished size to your liking by reducing or increasing each sections lengths for a customized size.
