This blanket is a texture lover’s dream!!

Whether you are creating a nautically themed baby room, need a blanket to take to the beach, or want to make a nice cozy blanket for your nautical lover, this blanket is perfect for you!

The pattern is considered advanced. It is created in 9 highly textured separate pieces that are assembled and completed with an edge. Stitches used are Block Stitch, Alpine Stitch, and Cables. Back post stitches, reverse single crochet and top stitching are also included.

The original pattern is for a baby blanket using DK weight yarn and F/3.75mm and G/4.0mm hooks. The finished size is 44” x 44”. Gauge information is included.

You can easily turn this into an adult-sized blanket by using worsted-weight yarn and a larger hook. My tester’s version finished at 59” x 59”.
