National Parks Bandana
I love a good theme and the women at Knitted Wit have created an outstanding one with a series of gorgeous hand dyed yarns inspired by our National Parks. Each one is so lovely – it’s difficult to choose. You might have to knit several!
After experimenting with many different stitch patterns, I decided to stick with easy garter stitch because it lets the yarn colors pop. It’s ideal for social knitting. Start one as you travel on vacation to a National Park, too. Enjoy!

It is approximately 14” tall from the bottom point to the neck edge.
The neck edge is 23”. Each side is 16”. The back seam edges are 3”.
Gauge: 4 sts./in. 7 rows/in. Gauge is not critical for this project.
The piece is knit flat, bottom up, with selvage edges throughout and then seamed. There is an image in the pattern showing all of the edges.

Thank you to Andrea and Barbara for modeling!
