The Natalie Cowl is a fair isle cowl worked in gently-shifting colors It begins with a provisional cast-on, is worked in the round, and is
finished by grafting together with a moebius twist for maximum coziness!

This pattern includes charted instructions (chart is in black and white for accessibility) and two different colorway options. Instructions are given for when to change colors. You may use two colors or as many as you choose!

The green sample (main photo) is knitted in a combination of Jamieson & Smith 2-ply Jumper Weight and Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift. The blue sample (flat photo) is knitted entirely in Jamieson & Smith 2-ply Jumper Weight. All colorways are listed in the pattern.

You will need one ball of colors B, D, G, and H and two balls of colors A, C, E, and F.

The Natalie cowl is named after my grandmother, who is the beautiful model! She learned to knit from her Ukrainian mother and taught her daughter (my mother) how to knit as well, who then passed the craft on to me. I feel very blessed to have heard many stories about her childhood on the farm in Alberta, where they had sheep, spinning wheels, and looms to go with their knitting needles.

The Natalie Cowl will be available exclusively through The Woolly Thistle through May 19, 2024. After that, the pattern will be available for purchase on Ravelry for $6. You can head over to TWT to check out the beautiful kits they have put together for this pattern!
