Nara shawl
A bias triangular shawl with alternating textured and lace details.
Gauge: Gauge is not crucial at this project, but affects size of the final shawl. Sample: 20sts x 36.5 rows on 4 mm/US6 needles (in garter stitch) = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”; measured flat, unstretched, blocked.
Needles: 4 mm/US6 or 4.5mm/US7 circular needles and a crochet hook (3mm or a size close to this). Choose a needle size suitable to your yarn!
Sizes: size depends on gauge. Examples:
- With gauge 19 sts x 38 rows: a= 220cm /~87” , m= 55cm /~22”.
- With gauge 20 sts x 36.5 rows: a= 212 cm /~83”, m= 52 cm /~20.5”.
Notions: stitch markers, darning needle.
