Nani Elchi
India is a land of spice and this pattern is inspired by cardamom, which is “Elchi” in my mother tongue Gujrati, and “Nani” means “small’’ in Gujrati (little one lovingly), so ‘’Nani Elchi’’ means small cardamom, and is dedicated to all the daughters, who indeed are a ‘little flavor’ in our life.
This pattern is a part of Indesco edition 4 - Spices of India
This pattern is worked bottom up, made as a flat bid rectangle and sewn at the back at the end along with a button for closure. It is constructed using star stitch and cross double crochet stitch to form the majority of the body. Pattern has detailed instructions along with the stitch counts at the end of every row, video links are also added for special stitches for the ease of understanding. Stitch count for different sizes are color coordinated to follow the pattern with ease.
Pattern has been tested by 16 fellow crochet artists, some of them being highly experienced, for all the mentioned sizes. This pattern uses DK weight viscose
This pattern uses maximum 250 gms of yarn in main color and approximately 50 gms in the alternate color
