Naga Noda Beanie
Naga Noda is a pattern for a tight fitting beanie, featuring cables and lace. It is worked bottom up. The pattern was inspired by the naga noda or wisteria floribunda, a Japanese plant with dramatic clusters of blue-violet to red-violet flowers that is commonly found in gardens around Europe.
There are 3 sizes available: Small (144 sts), Medium (162 sts) and Large (180 sts).
You’ll need approximately 40 to 50 grams of fingering weight yarn, preferably in a (semi) solid or tonal colourway.
Other materials required are a set of knitting needles for working small circumferences in the round, a cable needle, and a tapestry needle.
A big thank you goes out to my test knitters: crayonvirtuoso, carolfitz2, RedTina, BR7394, and AuntLizzy.
