Myrtle Squared
Description
This is a square afghan block. This pattern is for intermediate to advanced crocheters.
The pattern can be used for anything from a pillow/cushion cover, table runner, table cloth, placemat, dresser cover, or as a larger item for across the end of the bed.
The pattern could also be used to make the front and back panels of an item of clothing.
Written instructions are provided, as well as a chart. There are also small charts in each round of the written pattern to assist with visualising the order of stitches along the shawl and the placement of stitches relative to the round below.
Yarn:
Any yarn can be used for this blanket, as long as you use the hook recommended for the yarn.
I recommend a 4 to 6 ply yarn.
I suggest WolleAmore cotton, 12 o’color or Ice Pleasures (50% cotton, 50% acrylic), Supernova (50% cotton, 50% acrylic plus lurex), bamboo (50% bamboo/50% acrylic), or merino (50% merino, 50% acrylic).
Available online at wolleamore.pl. #wolleamore #amorewolle #wolleamoreyarn
My project uses a bamboo blanket set consisting of twelve 400 m skeins, and is of my own colourway.
