This is one of those sweaters where I saw a pattern I thought I liked and wanted to knit - but then I decided it needed a couple changes. Changes like, oh, a cardigan instead of a pullover; a hood instead of a high collar; two colors instead of one; maybe the sleeves need to be different? It reaches a point where you suddenly realize, that sweater I thought I liked was more of a pathway to inspiration for a sweater I really like; because that one I saw? It’s nice, but it’s not my sweater. This is My Sweater.
