My Muse
AUG 18, 2015 Errata: Typo on Baby (1st) size for CO & ribbing part (should be to CO 92, not 93)
Ribbing should be: 1: sl1, p2, (k2, p2)x 22 times, p1;
2: sl1, (k2, p2) x 22 times, k2, p1; (FOR BABY SIZE ONLY)
The inspiration behind this pattern is, of course, my little Muse, my first baby girl, Ella - hence is the name. This set kept her warm and stylish first year of her life:) hope you enjoy working with this pattern as much as I’ve enjoyed designing this for my girl!
NOTE: This pattern has not been tested or tech edited - so you do find any typos, mistakes, inconsistencies - PLEASE let me know!
Basic Skills Necessary:
cast on, cast off, knit, purl, basic cable, slip
purl 2 together
knit 2 together
MATERIALS
Sport weight/Light DK/Fine (5ply)
Circular needle Size 2/US (2.75 mm) or size needed to obtain below gauge (gauge in Pattern);
Small Cable needle (CN) (or you could use a small double pointed needle instead);
Scissors, tapestry needle’
GAUGE: In Cable pattern- 30 stitches x 36 rows = 4 x 4
KNITTING METHOD: The hat and cowl are knitted flat from bottom up (not in the round), sides are sewn together at the end.
NOTE: Eventually, I’ll be adding IN-THE-ROUND method and a CHART for both, Hat & Cowl - this will be sent automatically by Ravelry to everyone who gets this pattern, paid or free.
