My First Beanie
There comes a time in any knitter’s journey when working on a project in the round is called for. What better way to learn this technique than in a simple, straightforward beanie? In addition to the basic technique of knitting in the round, this beanie is a great chance to learn the ins and outs of crown decreases by working with one of three methods for knitting smaller diameters: dpns (double-pointed needles), magic loop, or two circular needles. And to top it off (pardon the pun!), there are several various “toppers” that can be explored for a fun finish.
