Granny’s Favourite just grew up.
After countless requests, the adult version is finally here. This has quickly become my favourite cardie to wear and is a staple in my wardrobe. It works beautifully over sundresses but equally well with pants and a top.

Construction:
Knit from the top down and seamlessly, My Favourite features a quaint little lace pattern around the circular yoke and cuffs. The body has a slight a-line shape. Sleeves can be knit either three-quarter or full length, as shown here. Body of cardie is knit flat and sleeves are knit in the round. The edging is worked on the cardigan as you go to create minimal finishing and make it easier to gauge yardage usage.

Both charts and instructions included for the lace.

Sizing:
Finished chest measurement:
28/71 (30/76, 32/81, 34/86.5) [36/91.5, 38/96.5, 40/101.5, 42/106.5]
44/111.5 (46/117, 48/122, 50/127) [52/132, 54/137, 56/142] {58/147, 60/152.5} inches/cms

Select your size based on the finished measurement you require. I’ve found this style works well with anything from a couple of inches of negative ease to a couple of positive ease, depending on the look you want. I suggest using your upper chest to guide your sizing choice.

Garment shown in 34” worn with 1” positive ease at the bust and 3” at the upper chest.
