My Caffeine Fix
This is a great little stash-busting project that can be made with any yarn you have on hand, and you could even mix and match yarns for more individuality.
The ribbing ensures a better grip on your takeaway coffee cup and also protects your fingers from a very hot brew, while also keeping your coffee warmer for longer.
I have included instructions for the 3 main sizes of takeaway cup. However, if you like changing the size of your ‘fix’ depending on your craving, you could make the medium or large size, and just fold over the excess fabric for the smaller size/s.
I used Spotlight’s Flinders cotton yarn for the small size holder, and Milano Cotton Batik for the large size, but you can use any fibre yarn, as long as it is 8 ply/DK/ Light/Weight 3. The maximum amount you should need is 50g/2oz for the large size.
