Muriel
Muriel is worked top-down in one piece. The circular yoke has mosaic colorwork reminiscent of mid-century modern design elements. Was there a formica table in your childhood that looked like this? Muriel is a good mid-century name, and when I was designing the yoke another Muriel was painting the streets in Washington DC!
Best of all, there is a pocket! It’s a contrast pocket, worked after the sweater is finished. I made mine deep enough to hold my cell phone, but knitters choice!
The Great Southern Yarn SRS merino is so soft, so cozy, that I’ll be wearing it all winter.
