This crochet pattern is for a super cute Kermit Muppet Baby. This loveable and well-known character from Sesame Street and the Muppets is a favourite among folks of all ages. These guys are really cute and well-received as gifts. They also sell well at markets and craft shows.

This intermediate crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

Materials
• 75 grams each size 4 (worsted weight) yarn in Blue, White, Green
• Scrap amounts size 4 yarn in Black
• Crochet hook size H 5.00 mm
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker
• 2 x 1/2-inch black buttons ONLY if piece is being made for people over 3 years of age.

Notes
• Recommended Yarn: Loops & Threads Impeccable in Clear Blue, Guacamole, White.
• Kermit’s Legs, Body and Head are worked in one piece, using 2 strands of yarn held together.
• Kermit is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up
• Kermit’s Arms and Eyes are worked separately, using 2 strands of yarn held together and are sewn on.
• The finished piece is approximately 8.5 inches tall.
• 1 strand Bulky (size 5) yarn may be substituted for 2 strands yarn held together without any alterations to pattern needed.
