From the pattern description: The inspiration for this cozy yet sophisticated shawl comes from my grandmother. In Sweden, she was always crocheting them for us to have over our shoulders in the cold winters while we curled up to watch TV. I’ve been making shawls ever since then, usually to give to someone.
