I think this pattern is slightly crazy – a toddler sweater with all over colourwork and one billion ends to weave in (HINT: Weave in the ends as you go!!!) As fruitless as mud pies? Maybe. But the result is so worth it! It was too cute not to design.
Notions: 1 .5” / 17mm button, 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn, 2 stitch holders
Size: 0-3m (6-12m, 2-3y, 3-4y)
Finished Chest Circumference: 19.5 (21.5, 24, 25.5)” / 50 (55, 60, 65) cm
Designed to fit with 2-3” / 5-7 cm positive ease
Gauge: 24 sts & 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in pattern
Needles: US #4 / 3.5 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needle
US #4 / 3.5 mm double-pointed needles
Yarn: Bergere de France BERLAINE (100% wool; 98 yards / 90 m per 50g ball)
2 (2, 3, 3) skeins each in Vert D Eau (MC1) and Gris Lilas (MC2)
1 skein each in Albatre (CC1) and Abordage (CC2)
OR
196 (196, 294, 294) yards / 180 (180, 270, 270) m of DK weight wool in MC1 and MC2
98 yards / 90 m yards DK weight wool in CC1 and CC2
