A little of Paris meets Shetland with Donna Smith’s beautiful Muckle Leaf Beret.

Donna explained how she is always drawn to simple patterns and colours and loves geometric designs. She began this beret with two colours and a favourite motif: the dot.
She found a leaf motif that worked well with the dots and her two-colour scheme and then the crown naturally emerged from the tips of the leaves.

The beret is knitted in the round from the brim to the crown.
