The Mozart pullover is knitted from the top down, starting at the back and worked to the base of the armholes. Then, the front shoulders are picked up and knitted separately, working from the top down to the edge of the front neck. After joining both front sections, the front is worked to the armhole. Then the front and back are joined and knitted in the round down to the hem. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. Finally, the collar stitches are picked up and worked outwards from the body in the round.

Note that the yarn used for the sample is discontinued. Similar yarns include Lavender Lune’s Flocculent Worsted, Drops Air, Cascade Yarns Cantata or Wandering Flock Fluff. Any worsted weight yarn that creates a fabric you like and allows you to meet the gauge requirements may be used, as well as yarns held together that make the appropriate weight. GAUGE
Stitch Pattern: 1 repeat of stitch pattern (20 sts and 24 rounds/rows) = 4”/10 cm x 4”/10 cm in stitch pattern on main needle after blocking.
Note - You should always knit your swatch the same way that the pattern is knit—in this case, both flat and in the round. Block your swatch as you will your finished garment and allow it to dry fully before measuring.
