Mousse Bag è una borsa ampia e morbida realizzata in lana norvegese. Si lavora dal basso verso l’alto: si parte dalla base, poi si riprendono le maglie lungo i bordi e si unisce il lavoro per continuare in tondo. Le diminuzioni modellano la borsa, creando una forma a trapezio.
Il manico è lavorato con la tecnica del double knitting, che lo rende resistente e ben definito. Alla fine il progetto si infeltrisce in lavatrice e, se si desidera, si può aggiungere un bottone magnetico come chiusura. Non necessita di fodera: l’infeltrimento dona compattezza e una bella finitura anche all’interno.

Mousse Bag is a spacious, soft bag made from Norwegian wool. It is worked from the bottom up: you start with the base, then pick up stitches along the edges and join to work in the round. The decreases shape the bag, creating a trapezoid form.
The handle is worked using the double knitting technique, which makes it strong and well defined. At the end, the project is felted in the washing machine and, if desired, a magnetic button can be added as a closure. No lining is required: the felting process gives the fabric firmness and a neat finish also on the inside.
