Mottled Mitts
Fingerless mitts provide your hands with extra warmth and protection when you’re exploring the wild. Here, a simple knit and purl combination does two things: it creates a textured fabric, and it avoids unwanted pooling in a variegated yarn. The special yarn used in this design blends wool, nylon, and Outlast, a viscose fiber that reacts to the wearer’s body temperature for maximum softness, strength, and comfort.
Difficulty Intermediate
Finished Size 7 (7.5, 8, 8.5)“ hand circumference. Mitts shown measure 7.5”.

Notions Marker; stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge 34 sts and 70 rnds = 4” in charted patt.
Notes These mitts are worked in the round from the cuff up; both mitts are identical and can be worn on either hand.
