Moth Wings is a delicate lace wrap which varies the traditional top-down triangle with a center back panel. The panel is shaped at the bottom edge to enhance the appearance of two separate wings.

Knitted in a pale pastel, Moth Wings will coordinate with many items in a spring and summer wardrobe. For more kick, try knitting it in a bright color and tipping the edges of the wings with yarn of a contrasting color or fiber.

Skill Level: for the advanced beginner or intermediate lace knitter who is comfortable working with lace-weight yarn and following lace charts. The entire design is charted except for the edging. Moth Wings is knitted in one piece from the top down. Once the two wings have been separated, they are worked individually back and forth in rows. However, you need not remove any stitches from the circular needle as you complete the wings.

Finished Dimensions after blocking: 63 inch wingspan, 24 inch center back. Open space between the wings measures 4 ½“ long.
