Needles
Circular knitting needle 6 mm 40 cm and 80 cm
Circular needles 4 mm 40 cm and 60 cm. Double-pointed needles for ribbing.
If you knit with the magic loop method, you don’t need double-pointed needles.

Knitting gauge

GARTER STITCH MOSS SWEATER KNITTING PATTERN AND YARN

Knitting kit with yarn and free digital knitting pattern. Classic garter stitch sweater that can be knitted in both Pop Merino and Hip Wool. The sweater is knitted from the top down, back and forth in knit stitch. First, the front and back pieces are knitted separately. When the armhole is finished, the pieces are joined on the needle and knitted further down the body in the round – or you can choose to finish the pieces separately and then sew them together at the sides using mattress stitch. The sleeves are knitted from the top down by picking up stitches in the armhole.

Moss sweater is a garter stitch unisex sweater. This means that it suits both women and men well. It has an oversized, relaxed fit. Sleeve length and body length can be adjusted, or use the given measurements.

FIT
Ease of movement is approx. + 20 cm from bust/chest measurement for a roomy fit. If your chest measurement (or stomach, measure at the widest point of the upper body) is 100 cm, size L will fit best (= 22 cm ease of movement). Sweaters in Pop Merino are somewhat narrower and have less ease of movement in the same sizes
