Mosi-oa-Tunya Cowl
On the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe stands one of the most spectacular natural sights anywhere in the world – known to most of the world as the Victoria Falls. The sound and spray of this mighty waterfall makes itself known to you long before you see the huge sheets of water crashing from the lazy river above into the tempestuous rapids below. It’s no wonder that, long before David Livingstone arrived and named it after his Queen, the locals called it Mosi-oa-Tunya – the Smoke that Thunders.
This cowl is inspired by the tumbling waters and bright sunlit spray of the falls. It begins with a close-fitting, pointed neckline, and continues in gradually softening waves to a foamy eyelet border.
