Stranded colorwork is as fashionable as it is functional, providing extra warm from the air trapped by floats on the wrong side of the fabric and impressing others with its patterning. The Mosaika Cowl takes it up a notch with the addition of embroidery added after the knitting is completed.

To knit this cowl, you need to know how to:

  • knit and purl in the round,
  • work using two colors, and
  • work a stranded colorwork using a chart.

The stranded motif is charted only, with two versions of the chart provided so you can choose the one that best matches your main color.

Yarn requirements:
Main color: approximately 140 yds./128 m
Contrast color: approximately 95 yds./87 m

One stitch marker and a yarn needle are needed to complete the cowl.
