Mosaic Fractal
Featuring a “magic” mosaic design, this pillow reverses the background and foreground colors from front to back. Magic mosaic patterns have four-way symmetry, and this design reminded me of fractal geometry. Due to the complexity of the motif, there is no multiple and repeat. Instead, the whole of one pillow side is charted. A row counter or highlighter tape can come in handy while working. Using a long-gradient color and a solid color adds to the interest. The pillow is worked from the bottom over the top and back to the bottom, then seamed on the sides to finish. Give mosaic knitting a try with this pillow!
