Mortlake Cradigan
by Sarah Hatton
Sarah Hatton’s open cardigan has a drop-shoulder shape and falls to a mid-thigh length. Knitted in an aran-weight yarn, it will make a comfortable layering piece to keep the winter chills at bay! Sarah’s design has a slip stitch diamond pattern on the body, stocking stitch sleeves, and simple ribbed edgings. The yarn from Rico, Creative Soft Wool Aran, provides a smooth fabric with good stitch definition, and is machine-washable. It’s available in a choice of warm shades.
