This is a knit and crochet pattern for an adult size hat.

But somehow it fits everybody! And everybody loves it!

There is more knitting than crochet involved in this pattern.

Crochet skills: chain, single crochet, slip stitch (there is a description for these stitches)
This hat is fun to make!
It can be made out of cotton or wool yarn. I call it the summer and winter version. Both instructions are given in the pattern.

Once you have made one everybody will want one, too!!

Materials:

Summer Version: 2 skeins Brown Sheep “Cotton Fleece” (20% Merino, 80% Cotton, 215 yards/100g)

Winter Version: 3 balls Debbie Bliss “Cashmerino ((55% Merino, 33% Microfibre, 12% Cashmere, 125 m/50g)

24” (or longer) circular knitting needle size US 7 (4.5 mm), tapestry needle,
crochet hook size H (5 mm) and a smaller hook to get into hard to get through
areas (3,5 mm or size E works well ), 2 safety pins as markers
