Knitted in a super-soft wool and alpaca blend, they’re a treat to put on and will keep those chills at bay. The chunky yarn knits up quickly, and once you get the hang of the cable pattern, you can whip these up in a weekend.

This hat is part of a cable knit set with the socks. You will need three skeins of yarn to knit the set.

Tension: One pattern rep (21sts) and 24 rounds to 14.5 x 10cm (5¾ x 4in) in cable pattern using 6.5mm knitting needles and yarn held double.
