Combining classic style with modern colors and motifs, the Moraine Pullover blurs the line between foreground and background. This bottom-up raglan style pullover features a clever, all-over patterning with bold color repeats that are sure to catch your eye. Columns of flowers bow into faux princess seams, while the actual shaping takes place along the sides. Both the sleeves and the body of the pullover begin with corrugated ribbing, are worked in the rounded, and then joined at the armscyes. A steek is cast on across the neckline so the sweater can be worked in the round to the end. Finally, the pullover is finished off with a curved v-neck that also features a simple band of corrugated ribbing. A true classic with a twist, the Moraine Sweater is sure to be a treat for any knitter looking to explore colorwork knitting! You will need US 3 (3.25mm) 32-60” circular needles, or size to obtain gauge, plus spare needles of same size, and DPNs or long circulars for Magic Loop, 32-60” circular needles one size smaller than those to obtain gauge, and DPNs or long circulars for Magic Loop, a yarn needle, stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders, and a sewing needle and thread for the steek.
