• 3 skeins Purl Soho’s Silk Alpaca Alloy, 60% Baby Alpaca, 40% Mulberry Silk, or 325 yards of another super bulky yarn. We used the color Oyster Gray.
• US 17 (12 mm), 32- or 40-inch circular needles
• Optional but helpful: A set of US 17 double pointed needles
